Roasted Hatch Chilies

It is a South West sign of the season. IT comes complete with aroma.

I hope Uma and J were able to shop at Santa Fe Farmers' Market on their trip to Santa Fe today.

  1. Do you buy these to eat alone or with something else.

    Hope you are well.

Wishing you the best of everything.

  2. I'm envious that you might get to meet J and Uma. Such warm, loving people. Don't you just love Farmer's Markets?

  4. I'm looking forward to seeing Uma, but expect that will happen after she has been in school for awhile. I'm frantic with being busy here in Santa Fe, then headed back to Palm Springs for two different weeks in October.

I love Farmers' Markets. Hatch Chilis flown into CT? That is incredible. Just wondering, do they make green chili stew? I had a green chili tamale at the Farm Market yesterday.

Hugs will be given to Uma for being an enormous part to introducing me to this community of blogging women.

xoxo to all who gather at her blog, your blogs and here.

  5. :) Love to you all for the support and comments and virtual hugs. And sorry we did not get to connect yesterday Kameshwari, that would have been wonderful and I wish I had a way of checking email while I am out and about. We didn't find the farmer's market (we are so bad, just stumbling around clueless!) but when we came through Santa Fe last Saturday that is all I could smell...so sweet that at first I thought it was some sort of pastry being baked!

I am not usually a fan of spicy food but I'm really enjoying the red chili sauce that smothers everything here. We've had Southwestern food every day and are loving it...
